WP OPEN CIRCUIT The final of the Open WPT Masters Circuit took place at Pinelands Tennis Club this weekend - the culmination of 4 lead-in qualification tournaments over the last 4 months. Altogether 80 players participated in the series. The 8 highest-scoring men and 4 ladies were invited to participate in the final of the series. Ladies Charleen Haarhoff-Calvin demonstrated how overseas experience can count when she beat highly ranked U18 Junior Mikayla Morkel-Brink 6-3 6-0 Click here to view Photo Men Also just returned from the States young Jarryd Botha showed no respect for experienced Peter Caltiz beating him 6-3 6-1. Leading up to the finals both had made a clean sweep of their preliminary round robin opposition.
